Favorite tea: Stash's Caravan. It's always my second mug of the day (after beginning with Numi's Chinese Breakfast). On cold/rainy/stormy/snowy (I wish) days, my go-to is Lapsang Souchong.
MaryAnn! You were a TWoPper?! I had no idea. Best recaps ever (I would seriously lose all control of myself reading "Miss Alli's" recaps of Survivor and The Amazing Race, and she gave me the courage and the solid game theory/sociological back-up to own my love of Survivor and not skulk about in shame; she is now NPR's pop culture editor), and for a show like "Lost," absolutely essential in keeping up with what the heck was going on. Many TWoPpers (myself included) have migrated to the forums at PrimeTimer, if you ever find yourself with nothing to do.
I love lemon ginger tea and I mix it with everything!
What saves my life is cooking but not just for home. A local shelter lets my church come and cook for 100 homeless men. They can eat a lot. It lifts my heart to feed hungry people
We also take meals to some seniors in section 8 housing
So grateful that you put your writing and ponderings and delights out in the world!! Cannot wait to read your thoughts on the exquisite Braiding Sweetgrass...
The thing that saves my life is spending time with my four grandchildren. Happy. Sad. Mad. And usually in love with life-and with their grandparents-it’s a privilege and a joy to make this journey together.
What a juxtaposition, inadvertent or not...the wall art "crush the patriarchy" and the story of Mary the Tower. Much to muse upon.
Both are very "me" :-)

I LOVE that image of Mary the Tower!
Thanks for the tips! Putting on my 'shopping' list.

I was not heavy into it, but it really helped with LOST!!!

What a wonderful outlet! Even with 4 of us in the house, we never bake anything without thinking about who we could share our goodies with :-)
Red Rose Tea with any kind of milk,
Afternoon tea of chamomile and lavender. Both grow very well here in Michigan!
I could smell/taste this comment ! :-)
Hanging Mary the Tower for you in your office puts me in august company. It looks great there.
It looks wonderful! Thank you again. Go Handymen!

Sadly it got yanked off my kindle when my library loan ended... back in the queue I guess?

I love watching my kids with their grandparents! And honestly, when I ask groups what give them hope, "my grandkids" comes up a lot. A lot a lot.
