Hi everyone!
I initially created this for our supporting subscribers, but it’s now open to everyone—it’s one of the best tidbits I’ve received recently about anxiety and the brain. There are lots of videos that cover aspects of this, but none of them put it all together in a way that I like, so I decided to record my own video as an experiment! I’d love your feedback on the content and format.
We all have our anxious moments. What’s going on in our brains, and how do we get out of it? And how does understanding this process help us to be better leaders, caregivers, parents, and humans? Enjoy.
Loved this! I can't wait to share it with my students! I teach stress management and we start to discuss the brain in Week 2 of the course. Since most of my course is grounded in building emotional intelligence, I'm excited to get an early start helping them understand the importance of regulation. I'm also really curious about exploring somatic techniques.
This was a a great explanation with visual! Thanks!
