I love Celtic spirituality and was so blessed by your mention of it here, the idea that the shift happens before we detect it- what a thing to meditate and pray on.
The both-and-ness of this season is much closer to the surface for lots of reasons among my people, too. And the impulse to bring greenery inside was so strong at church, we have double the swags and wreaths... and (unsurprisingly) life in the sanctuary.
I am so grateful for the Weary World Rejoices series... it is perfection for this obstinately joyful human still healing from too many bonus hard things in too short a time after pretending life/the world isn’t always wearying for far too long.
