Re: finishing a book before it “vaporizes” I.E. the public library reclaims it - you can always put your Kindle on airplane mode until you’re finished (or so I’ve heard)
Check the link in the post! It's a silly extravagance (though I think they have deals from time to time), but the medals are top-notch and the app is fun--there's a map of Middle Earth that tracks your progress, and you get postcards and images from the movies that correspond with where you are. And at the 20%, 40%, etc. milestones, they either plant trees or remove plastic from the ocean, you choose.
The resources you highlight make me miss church work and the luxury of learning and instigating change through the sharing of Big Ideas-made-manageable.
I'm going to have to sit with my current bittersweet feelings for a few minutes (or longer). I love my current work and I have a lot of bitterness about the world I walked away from...but there are pieces that are hard to re/form.

That dance guy! Lol! He looks like he’s put together with rubber bands, and it’s wonderful he got so many people to dance with him. Fun!
Yes, I love that video so much!
LOTR challenge?!

Aw friend... I hear that. Having been on both sides of that 'divide.' Gentle hugs.
