What a beautiful story and a wonderful picture of true love. Pastor stories are rather mixed these days and it’s refreshing to read one that is positive and hopeful. Thank you for sharing MaryAnn and hoping the book is going well.

Beautiful! I shared it with two very dear friends of mine who have adopted two kids from Haiti. Their daughter survived breast cancer at 19 and their son Henry who is 15 and just had a lung removed. Henry was living in a massive garbage dump / slum when he was taken in and cared for before Lauri and Chris adopted him. The cancer is a direct result of where he lived. You brought tears to my eyes, Paul, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share this love-filled post with them.

Whoa. This is simply beautiful and profound. Rev. Paul, you touched my heart - you touched my soul. Love. Hard stop. Nothing is more powerful than love and your story captured love's truest essence. Thank you for making my day. I will reread your piece over and over.
