Happy Friday, Blue Roomies!
Just a quick update this week:
First—time to share about book number four! Writing is well underway, and you can read all about it right here:
At the end of the post above, I share a way for supporting subscribers to be a part of the creative process, but the truth is, you will ALL be a part of the journey as I go along. Just stay right here each Friday, where bits from the book will appear from time to time, as well as writerly angst, probably.
Second—a friend of mine put together a Spotify playlist while writing his book, and that sounded like a fun idea. Here’s what I have for my book so far. These songs are in keeping with the theme, or just share the vibe of the book. Enjoy.
It’s a tender thing to share about one’s work publicly. But there’s really no way to write authentically without some vulnerability. So… full steam ahead.

What (Else) I’m Up To
I’m preaching this Sunday April 21 at 10:15 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Herndon and via livestream.
And I’m coming to North Carolina for a church leader event in May, and will be leading a women’s retreat at the end of May.
And just because they make me happy: potatoes!
What are you working on? Or what’s making you happy this week? I’d love to hear.
But can it be a floor wax?
Congratulations!! I love that you keep exploring what it means to Be, from your perspective.
I’m really loving this curated playlist, MaryAnn. I go through musical phases and I love revisiting my folksy artists. Dar Williams, Indigo Girls, Waylin Jennys…wow…thank you, for all this and what a great idea to pair a playlist with your book. 👍💪🔥❤️🙏
