Just under the wire—my September check in with supporting subscribers. Thanks for your support and patience. I hope it will pay off… in another year or so? (Traditional publishing is slow.) 

Writing Update

How’s the writing going? Well:

I moved the manuscript deadline from September to November, so we’re very much in the closing weeks of getting this done. All those random bits of the book I’ve been yada-yadaing? Time to flesh those little pieces out. (From yada-yada to nitty-gritty?)

Candles help…

It continues to be a logistical puzzle to find writing time and headspace, what with ministry, motherhood, and more. The Writing Table is a big help, as well as regular times with “co-working” friends who gather together on Zoom to body double. The accountability is magical… and like all good magic, I can’t explain how it works, but it does! When I give advice to writers, I always tell them to find some kind of support/critique group, or find a way to do the work within a community.
